Reviews

Oct 2011

"We had a fantastic weekend at The Barn, a lovely peaceful location to really relax. The freshly baked loaf of bread and cake were really nice touches - very homely and welcoming. The snooker table was a brilliant bonus which we used lots! I would recommend The Barn very highly, the only thing I would say is that the photographs on the website simply don't do it justice - it is far bigger and more luxurious than it looks! All in all it was the perfect location to celebrate my 30th birthday with family and friends."

"lovely people, beautiful place, everything we could possibly wish for. Can't think of anything that could be improved to be honest...apart from the weather which wasn't that bad anyway! It was a really nice touch to have food there on arrival and Caroline had even baked a cake for my friend's birthday which was really sweet.

They did ask if there was anything they could do to make the place more baby friendly but to be honest it was fine. The stable door in the kitchen kept the littlies away from the stairs and there was a high chair so that was good. A cot would be useful but not essential. Otherwise it was good.

Top marks! Thanks to them and to you for arranging."

"We all enjoyed the stay very much and were very impressed with the well equipped accommodation. Mary and Caroline made us most welcome and all the little extras were much appreciated. The boys were very happy in the games room!"
