Orchard View

17th Century Orchard View cottage is situated in countryside near Dilwyn and Pembridge in the Welsh Marches area of North Hereford.  S Shropshire is not far away.  It is an annex, attached to the owner's house that has been beautifully converted, into comfortable and characterful self catering accommodation.  Orchard View has access to the owner's four and a half acre grounds in which it is set. The name relates to the beautiful views of the cider orchards and hop fields that the cottage enjoys.

Orchard View is suitable for a quiet country escape for those wanting to enjoy the countryside first hand.  During the winter months electric radiators provide a warm, cosy atmosphere that will ensure a perfect winter break. There are several market towns a short drive away all with historic interest: Pembridge, Ludlow, Leominster, Hereford and Hay on Wye.

Although situated in the countryside, the nearest shops, restaurants and pubs are in Weobley or Pembridge, two beautiful black and white villages, a short drive away, there is a pub at Dilwyn which is a walkable distance away.  Pembridge, Weobley and Dilwyn are all important villages on the Black and White Village Trail . Orchard View is the ideal self catering base for exploring some of the area's leading attractions: Croft Castle (National Trust), Berrington Hall (National Trust), Croft Ambrey Hillfort, which is Iron Age with a Roman presence (English Heritage) and Ludlow Castle , Hereford Cathedral and the unique mediaeval Chained Library.
