"We have just returned from a few days staying at the Parlour. The cottage was delightful, comfortable and spacious. Our hosts were generous and friendly and we would love to have stayed longer. We plan to return."

"It was only a three night stay and we wished it could have been a lot longer. The welcome was warm and genuine. The welcome pack of goodies thoughtful and of high quality including local quality dairy products. The accommodation was not only 'exactly what it said on the tin' but truly delightful with an outstanding outlook across green fields to the far Clee Hills. It was so quiet with the clucking of the delightful chickens being one of the few sounds noticeable. Everything within the Parlour worked well and was very comfortable and very clean. The kitchen was perhaps the best equipped of any cottage we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in a lot). We tend to cook rather than eat out so a well equipped kitchen is essential. Information about the cottage and about the local area was outstanding. Up to date menus for eating destinations, all sampled and commented on by the owners (which will benefit many if not ourselves). Every contact with the owners was delightful informative and helpful. Next time we need to be in that area it is certainly The Parlour which will get our custom."

"We had a very good holiday. The cottage was tip-top, and set in beautiful surroundings."
August 2010
"We had a really good stay at The Parlour - the cottage was lovely and we really appreciated the little touches and hospitality from Mary and Caroline - the food basket and fresh bread/biscuits, and the fact that Mary came to find us and our baby when we were caught out in the rain on the way back from the local pub! We'd definitely recommend it to anyone. Thanks to you and Charles for your efficient handling of our booking too."
